For holding shell end mills and single angle milling cutters with longitudinal groove in accordance with DIN 842.

Execution

• Alloyed case-hardening steel, core tensile strength at least 950 N/mm²
• Case-hardened HRc 60 ± 2 (HV 700 ± 50), hardness depth 0.8 mm ± 0.2 mm
• Taper angle tolerance quality < AT3 in accordance with DIN 7187 and DIN 2080
• Max. concentricity < 0.005 mm
• Functional surfaces precision-ground, all other surfaces black-oxide
• With Balluff chip hole
• Required pull studs no. 23690

Notes

The previous standard DIN 69871-1 is superseded by ISO 7388-1. If combined shell end mill arbors with ICS are desired, the cutter retaining screws must be ordered separately with IC DIN 6367.
